Memorial Day weekend marks the beginning of the summer and with it there are numerous events to enjoy. But before we break out the barbecue or head off to the park let’s set our watches to 3pm to remind us so we can participate in The National Moment of Remembrance. All Americans are encouraged to pause wherever they are at 3 p.m. local time on Memorial Day for a minute of silence to remember and honor those who have died in service to the nation.
