It is the mission of the Grand Canyon Music Festival to enhance the Grand Canyon experience by presenting world-class music in Grand Canyon National Park and in outreach programs to schools in rural and Native American communities.
The Grand Canyon Music Festival celebrates its 34th season with a series of concerts between August 25 – September 9, 2017. The performances will feature a variety of talented artists which includes the Catalyst Quartet, Grand Canyon School of Rock, The Bonfiglio Group,Joe Deninzon, Jon Klibonoff and Johanna Lundy. Visit the official festival website for locations and ticket information at www.grandcanyonmusicfest.org. Shows usually sell out, so if you’re interested, try to reserve your tickets asap.
The performances take place in the Shrine of the Ages, which is where they have the evening ranger talks in the winter. It’s also where some of the different religious groups in the park hold services. There is a path to the rim, about a half-mile walk. There’s a good size parking area right there, from when the visitor center was there.
New ticket pricing: Rather than a general admission fee to performances, a donation of $15 is suggested, an amount based on historic ticket prices.
This new policy allows you to give what you are comfortable with, while increasing access for everyone!
