La Pinata, previously known as El Pinado, is a historic hotel in Williams AZ which was built prior to 1905. It was once the main hotel in town for the railroad and ranch workers in the area. Some controversy arose over the name of the historic Williams hotel recently when it was renamed La Pinata after a major renovation. During this renovation workers uncovered hidden doors and some old newspapers. After sitting vacant for some time, Bruce Bennett restored the building and re-purposed the rooms into apartments and commercial space. He even restored one of the original signs from the 1940’s.
